    Data Entrepreneurship Challenge Overview

    LMI and the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Data Science have teamed up to bring an entrepreneurship competition to Grounds. 

  • Bill Maxwell, Ed.D.

    Bill Maxwell is LMI’s Logistics Strategy and Integration Fellow. He is a 28-year U.S. Air Force veteran with broad logistics expertise, having served in tactical and strategic leadership roles sustaining weapon systems that supported global combat, training, and test operations.

  • Harry Edelman

    Harry Edelman

    Harry joined LMI in 2024, bringing over a decade of leadership and experience across the federal government including in project management, financial analysis, and operations for the Department of Defense. At LMI, he supports initiatives developing technology-integrated policy capabilities, including AI-enabled policy analysis platforms, and assists customers with policy lifecycle transformation.

    Rick has spent nearly two decades leading large-scale transformation efforts, primarily supporting federal health agencies. As Vice President of LMI’s Public Health submarket, he leverages his deep healthcare expertise and functional skills in digital transformation, policy implementation, and data analytics to help clients achieve their missions.

    Matthew Finney

    Matthew joins LMI with 10 years of experience helping executive teams drive transformative growth with digital and analytic technologies. A data scientist by training, he is passionate about bringing technology and operations closer together to drive business value and mission outcomes.

  • William Maxwell

    William “Bill” Maxwell

    Dr. Bill Maxwell leads LMI’s supply chain operations practice area and is an organizational conflict management optimization facilitator. He is the program manager for LMI’s largest contract with the Air Force Sustainment Center, where his team supports weapon system supply requirements and is helping the Air Force overcome the challenges of contested logistics.

    Nathan Danneman, PhD

    Nathan serves as a technical lead and innovator at LMI. His academic background in quantitative political science, where he studied international conflict processes, trained him to think rigorously about measurement of strategic interactions.
